Data We Collect

3AM is designed with privacy first. We collect minimal data:

• Chat conversations are processed in real-time through our AI service and are NOT stored on our servers.
• Personal data (name, situation details) is stored locally on your device only.
• Mood entries and health data are stored locally on your device.
• Subscription data is managed by Apple through the App Store.

How We Use Data

We use the minimal data we process to:

• Provide AI coaching responses during your chat sessions
• Process subscription payments through Apple's App Store
• Improve our service quality

Data Storage

Your personal data, mood entries, and preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage. We do not maintain a database of user information.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — processes chat messages to generate coaching responses
• RevenueCat — manages subscription status
• Apple HealthKit — reads health data (only with your explicit permission)

HealthKit Data

If you grant permission, 3AM reads sleep, heart rate, step count, and mindfulness data from Apple HealthKit. This data is used solely within the app to show you health insights. We never share HealthKit data with third parties or use it for advertising.

Children's Privacy

3AM is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control. You can delete all app data by uninstalling the application.
